Our Founder

Micah Pushia, the founder of Quince Dance Academy, is a professional quinceañera choreographer with over 15 years of experience. His passion for dance, music, and theatre, honed through training with top instructors nationwide, shines in every event he choreographs. Micah specializes in teaching students of all ages, from beginners to seasoned performers, and finds immense joy in witnessing their transformation. His commitment to creating unique and memorable quinceañeras has earned him the trust of hundreds of families, making each celebration a heartfelt masterpiece.

Emmanuel "Emma" Garcia

Choreographer

Emmanuel, known professionally as Emma, is a versatile choreographer who has dedicated over a decade to mastering a wide array of dance styles. Specializing in high-energy and precise performances, Emma's expertise transforms quinceañeras into captivating showcases. His passion for salsa and his emerging talent in costume design add a creative flair to every event, making each moment unforgettable.

Buta Surandi

Choreographer

With over a decade of dedication to Quince Dance Academy, Buta Surandi brings unparalleled expertise in hip-hop choreography. As a seasoned performer who has collaborated with renowned music artists nationwide and a multiple-time World of Dance competition winner in Texas, Buta's passion for dance is evident in every class. His commitment to excellence ensures that each quinceañera he teaches leaves with not just choreography, but an unforgettable experience.

Tyler Pushia

Choreographer

Tyler Pushia, a founding member of Quince Dance Academy, has been an integral part of the quinceañera industry for nearly 20 years. His deep love for all dance styles, combined with his extensive experience in Latin and hip-hop dance, makes him a versatile and inspiring instructor. As the Creative and Marketing Director, Tyler’s innovative approach ensures that every dance is as unique and vibrant as the quinceañera herself.

Chasity Martinez

Choreographer / Coordinator

Chasity Martinez, a proud native of Houston, brings over 30 years of dance experience to Quince Dance Academy. Beginning her journey at age 4, Chasity has mastered a variety of styles, including Tejano, Cumbia, hip-hop, Salsa, and Bachata. Her experience with diverse dance cultures worldwide, combined with her deep connection to Houston’s vibrant culture, makes her a dynamic choreographer and coordinator, dedicated to making each quinceañera truly special.

Jessica Meza

Coordinator

With over 10 years of experience coordinating quinces at Quince Dance Academy, Jessica Meza understands the profound importance of these events—having celebrated her own quinceañera. Her empathy and attention to detail make her a trusted guide for families, ensuring every celebration is as seamless and special as it deserves to be.
